ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY!

This unique two-actor adaptation of the classic C.S. Lewis story - the heroic tale of love, faith, courage and giving, the life and death struggle for control of Narnia, and the grandeur of the triumph of good over tyranny - enthralls and entertains audiences of all ages. 

 

First presented by Rome Community Theater, this production was named Best Production at this year’s Theater Association of New York State One-Act Play Festival. It also earned awards for Directing for Pat Stone, and Acting for both

cast members, Kirstin Walker and Jennifer Brown.

 

The production earned an invite to represent New York State at ESTA, The Eastern States Theater Association Festival.  plus District of Columbia . Their performance at this prestigious showcase of the top Community Theater groups from 5 states and the District of Columbia April 9-12 in Chesapeake, MD earned them the top awards for;

  • Outstanding Achievement in Ensemble Acting.

  • Excellence in Sound Design

  • Excellence in Costume Design

  • Stage Manager's Award

 

Welcome them back and celebrate their achievement by enjoying this one-time-only performance of this family friendly favorite in the wonderful setting of Unity Hall's historic Landecker Theater at 3pm on Sunday, April 26th.

Adult tickets are $10, 18 and under tickets are $5 in advance through Humanitix. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tickets, if available, will go on sale at the box office at 2:15pm the afternoon of the performance.  We thank the Barneveld Free Library for joining us in co-hosting this event.

Every event at Unity Hall helps sustain community programming and preserve our historic building. Unused tickets will be gratefully converted into a donation to the Unity Hall Foundation. the Syracuse Area Music Awards.

Main Stage events take place in our historic second floor theater. Those not comfortable or confident climbing our stairway are invited to enjoy the hi-definition simulcast on our large flat-panel display in the first floor parlor, which can be easily accessed through the door from the patio adjacent to the parking lot behind the Hall.
