HOLMES & MANCINI REUNION
8PM SATURDAY, JUNE 13
Message
Music lovers into the Central New York music scene in the 70s and 80s knew the words “Who's on first?” and swallowing facts “Hook, Line and Sinker,” didn't just bring Abbott & Costello and Captain Ahab to mind. They got them thinking, "we've got to get to the Hook (Line & Sinker) to catch HOLMES & MANCINI!
Danny Holmes and Rich Mancini were the acoustic duo that changed the landscape of live music in CNY. At a time when rock bands ruled the clubs, these two proved that two guitars, two voices, and a razor‑sharp sense of humor could pack a room just as well as any full band. Their blend of clever banter, tight harmonies, and acoustic takes on hits from the 60s through the 80s made them a must‑see act. And they didn’t just cover songs - they wrote songs of their own that fans loved so that that the pair even launched Denim Records, to release their originals.

Although Holmes & Mancini were only together for six years, their impact lasted decades. They reunited a handful of times, including their unforgettable 2014 performance at the Stanley Theatre, where they opened with an acoustic Beatles set alongside Plastic Soul.

Well… it’s been 50 years since it all began. And the time feels right for what may be one final get‑together.
They’d love to see all their friends, fans, and longtime supporters come celebrate the music, the memories, and the laughter at Unity Hall for what promises to be a wonderful night of music.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 14th at 10am exclusively through Humanitix.
