A Good Girl: The Sexual Odyssey of a 51-year-Old Woman “As Robin Curtis began formulating ‘A Good Girl: The Sexual Odyssey of a 51-year-old Woman,’ she received some advice from a nun in a woman’s writing workshop in Cincinnati. Sister Mary suggested, ‘Stick to the sex, it comes from a deeper place.’ A sexual odyssey was born.” * In 1978, with a theater degree from the State University of New York at Oswego and a young resume filled with performances of all the great women and wenches of musical theater, Robin Curtis sought an acting career in NYC. An Oil of Olay commercial introduced her to the camera and took her to Los Angeles where she performed as a film and television actress for over eighteen years. Her most notable portrayal was that of “Lt. Saavik” in STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK and STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME. She later joined the cast of THE NEXT GENERATION as Romulan mercenary “Tallera” in GAMBIT I and II. She also acted in a number of films and other television productions before moving to Cincinnati to pursue graduate classes in Criminal Justice. In 2003 Robin returned to Upstate NY, and resides in Cazenovia, pursuing a career in custom home building and real estate with a little writing and acting on the side. “In this (self-authored) no-holds-barred performance, (Robin) Curtis (leads) the audience through her fascination with kissing, falling in love, nudie magazines and training bras. Growing up in a small town near Utica, Curtis’s upbringing was pretty orthodox. ...But as her curiosity of sex and love grew, so did her ever-changing body.”* With a gift for vivid storytelling, Robin recounts her first sexual encounter, escapades in the back of a station wagon, her introduction to sexually transmitted disease, and much much more. Her frank descriptions will have you laughing, blushing, crying, or even curled up under your chair with embarrassment!
