11/29/08            King Kool and His Royal Blues

King Kool, (a/k/a multi-instrumentalist Mark Sisti, co-founder of the legendary Justice McBride Band) and his brothers and band-mates, bassist Al and slide-guitar wizard Dan, grew up in a household where, when bedtime came around, instead of hearing Disney hits, their bedtime lullabies were Jimmy Smith, Dinah Washington or Joe Williams being

played on the family turntable. This lifelong exposure to blues music has shaped their musical growth throughout their lives and allows them to bring an authenticity to the blues that few can match.  This is sure to be a rockin’ evening at the Hall! Please come on out and begin the Holiday Season with King Kool and His Royal Blues.
